Our first Craft Spotlight kicks off with Anthony Nigilo!

Being featured once again at this year’s New Jersey Folk Festival is jewelry designer, maker and businessman Anthony Nigilo. After getting his start in jewelry following his career as a plumber, pipe fitter and computer repairman, Niglio found his true passion in making jewelry, at first, out of beads, feathers, and animal bones. From there, he expanded his knowledge and skillset to minerals, jewels, and metals.

The best part of his job is “finding hidden beauty in what nature has provided and being able to showcase it in my work.”

Nigilo

Today, he runs a successful business from his online store: https://squareup.com/market/dreamtraderjewelry
and from his website: dreamtraderjewelry.com
and also features his work in several art shows across the country!

Come see Anthony and our other crafter’s work at the 2020 New Jersey Folk Festival on April 25th from 10-6pm at Rutgers University, New Brunswick!

Signing off, Emma Duensing (Craft Coordinator)
