Fill Out Those Food Vendor Applications ASAP!

The New Jersey Folk Festival Food Vendor applications are now live and available! The latest date for application is Friday, February 28th at 5:00PM EST. Matthew Ferguson has been involved with the Festival for over 15 years, and is now the point of contact for all food-related inquiries.

Along with filling out the online form, there is an updated Registration & Information sheet. This sheet includes updates to Category Classification and Fees, Unrestricted Items, Contacts, and Timeline. The Timeline is included below for your convenience. Please find the time to read over the updated Process.

Timeline

Friday, February 28, 2020 – Food Vendor Application Due By 5:00PM

All food vendors, regardless of past participation, will be required to submit an application to be a food vendor at the 2020 NJFF. The application will require vendors to identify multiple categories that they wish to be considered for and require at least one reference from participation in another festival.

Monday, March 2, 2020 – Vendor Acceptance Notification By Midnight

After applications are received, the DHS team will review all applications and accept vendors based on the following criteria: Menu, Past Participation, and Reputation/References. The DHS team will work to ensure that there is a balance of food offerings with minimal duplication.

Tuesday, March 10, 2020 – Vendor Confirmation and Payment Due By Midnight

Once accepted, vendors will have until this date to review festival guidelines, confirm participation, complete required forms and submit payment of registration and permit fees to DHS Hospitality. Payment will be accepted by check or by credit card this year.

Wednesday March 25, 2020 – Cancellation Requests Due By Midnight

Requests for cancellation by food vendors are due in writing to food.njff@gmail.com by Midnight on this date. Once received, vendors will receive a refund of registration fees minus the non-refundable permit fees. Cancellation requests received after this date will only be honored if a suitable replacement can be identified. No cancellations will be reviewed after April 11, 2020.

Saturday, April 25, 2020 – Festival Day! Make $!
