Juried Craft Applications for New Jersey Folk Festival Now Being Accepted!

New and Returning Applicants Now Accepted

The New Jersey Folk Festival is now accepting Crafter applications for Vendors to be featured in the 46th annual New Jersey Folk Festival, which will take place on April 25th, 2020 on the Douglass Campus of Rutgers, the State University of New Jersey in New Brunswick, NJ. This free event from 10am to 6pm allows people to listen to folk music from any one of our four stages of music, participate in events and activities, shop and watch demonstrations from our Craft Path, and try food from any one of our amazing food vendors.

Interested crafters are encouraged to send in their application through the mail or online. The application can be found on the folk festival website, https://www.njfolkfest.org/, under the “Contact Us” tab. New Applicants, in order to be considered, must send in: (a) a completed application, (b) two checks, one $10 non-refundable jurying fee, and one check for booth space which will not be cashed until crafters are accepted, (c) four pictures of their craft, which will be used for during jurying, and (d) a brief description of their craft, including materials and techniques used. Checks may be mailed with the application to:

Crafters are encouraged to send a digital copy of their completed application, images, and brief description to njffcrafts@gmail.com in addition to the mailed application and check. 

Jurying will be conducted by a group of impartial and knowledgeable jurors.

Please note that booth fees vary depending on when the application is sent in for review:

  • Postmarked by January 15 – $125
  • Postmarked by February 15 – $135
  • Postmarked by March 15 – $145
