Monday April 5th: Virtual Panel Discussion

Paul Robeson and Folk Music Panel!
The New Jersey Folk Festival invites you to join us for our first event of the 2021 virtual festival! On April 5th from 6:00 pm to 7:00 pm we will be hosting a virtual panel discussion on Paul Robeson’s legacy in folk music. There will be seven panelists as part of our discussion, which includes authors, scholars, folklorists, archivists, and librarians. The panel will begin and end with performances by internationally renowned musician Josh White Jr. as well as some insights into his experiences as a musician and activist.
