Apply to be an NJFF Food Vendor!

New Jersey Folk Festival will soon open applications for Food Vendors for the 2020 Festival to be held on April 25th, 2020 on the grounds of Cook Campus of Rutgers University. The festival draws around 15,000 people during the 1 day event with performances from 10am to 6pm. Visit www.njfolkfest.org for more information.

Please take note of the timeline, as the window for application submission is short.

  • Vendor Application and Guidelines Released on Feb 17, 2020
  • Vendor Applications Due February 28, 2020
  • Vendor Notification of acceptance March 2, 2020
  • Vendor payment to confirm participation to be received by March 10, 2020

We invite all interested food vendors to apply, including previous festival vendors and new festival vendors. Applications will be competitive, and selections will be made to fulfill the spectrum of food categories and the quality of service desired by NJFF Festival Management. 

Food Vendor relations for the 2020 Festival will be managed by DHS Hospitality, who will handle all contracting, permitting, and application processes. A new application process with updated fees, categories, and guidelines will be in place. This process is overseen by the New Jersey Folk Festival staff and executed by DHS Hospitality.
